CHl'RCH AT ASHEBORO ; A revival lias been in progress at , the Asheboro Methodist Protestant church for the past two weeks and is still m progress. The services "per haps will close Wednesday night. I Much interest has been manifested irom the very beginning of the meei ni;r. 1 he church has been prepared for the meeting by the pastor calling at tention to it from time to to time and .by sermoM and prayer meeting talks along the line of revival, work. The Sunday school officers and teachers had alse been preparing the Sunday schoor scholars for the revival. The result has been larger congregations than the people are used to and a large number I of professions and additions to the i church. Terhaps more than fifty have ' professed faith in Christ already and , thirty-eight have united with U church, thirty-two on profession of faith and six by certificate. Several more are expected to unite with tie church next Sunday, a number havinr already given their names.
